The objective of this course is for inspection teams to have a clear understanding and interpretation of NS-2™, DS-1® and API RP-7G-2, to cover the differences between the industry inspection standards used today and why they are specified.
Course Content
References will also be made to the standards covering Manufacture and NDT methods from API (Spec 7-1, 5DP) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers reference standard (ASME V). We will also cover the responsibility of the inspector and what they should be reporting to the client.
But there is also a need for a more all round education in the application and use of these standards that is more relevant to specific services or job roles within the industry.
